Hi, I'm Kiersten Frison! I am a Summa Cum Laude graduate of California State University, Northridge with a BA in Television Production. I have always enjoyed the art of film and television and have always been curious about the behind the scenes work that creates the magic we see on screen. In going to college for TV production, I have created many individual short films as well as worked on larger class projects; both on multi-camera productions on a studio set, and single-camera productions shot on location. I have had the opportunity to try numerous crew positions on productions: directing, producing, writing, editing, sound, lighting, etc. I have knowledge of how to effectively use industry standard programs that are used during preproduction and postproduction, such as Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling, Premier Pro, Avid Pro Tools, Final Draft Pro, and Backstage Casting. Currently, I am working as a freelance production assistant on short films and features. The challenges that come with producing and assistant directing I find enjoyable and rewarding, and I hope to work in those positions on a TV series or feature film in the future. I am excited to see where my skills can take me and I hope to create important conversations with my work as well as introduce more diversity into the entertainment industry.
